KS4 Offsite Offer
Brookfield opened a second site in September 2017 and offers a tailored vocational pathway to pupils in KS4.
Our aim is to provide an environment that supports the preparation for post 16 learning and employment. Vocational accreditation, careers, advice and guidance alongside appropriate academic pathways and an intensive support package will provide each pupil with the very best opportunity to thrive in their chosen onward journey.
As of September 2018, Brookfield’s offsite provision extended further to meet the needs of KS4 pupils struggling to access mainstream and special education. All pupils follow a individualised package of education that aims to motivate, support and reduce the significant barriers to learning that have affected engagement and progress to date. All pupils will be provided with a detailed plan to aid reintegration to an appropriate full time provision. The new provision is based in Preston.
A highly qualified and motivated staff team assess, reflect and aim to provide the very best pathways for each pupil.
Further information about Brookfield Offsite is available from the Lead teacher, Tim Mataciunas (Bispham) and Kane Cleland (Preston).
A small number of our pupils have needs that require a highly personalised curriculum. The aim for these pupils is to provide appropriate intervention and a pathway that provides access to the main school offer. We have an offsite provision in a rural setting that provides the necessary variety, flexibility and specialised learning opportunities for the most hard to reach pupils to thrive, engage, enjoy and meet expectations.
