Pupil Premium & Yr 7 Catch Up Funding

Introduced in April 2011, the pupil premium grant (PPG)  is allocated to children who are looked after by the local authority, those who have been eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last six years and for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces.

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives state-funded schools, including special schools and alternative provision settings, additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).
